European Film Export Association (EFEA) has elected its new management board.

Dieter Menz (atlas international Film) has become a member of this board which includes as well: President Jacques Eric Strauss (Plaza Production, France), Vice-President Adriana Chiesa Palm (Adriana Chiesa Enterprises, Italy), Vice-President Frederik Stege (Trusk Nordiks, Denmark), Treasurer Jean-Paul de Vidas (Les Films 26, France), Jef Nuyts (Intra Movies, Italy), Michael Werner (NonStop Sales, Sweden) and Kevin Williams (Kevin Williams Ass. Spain).

EFEA has been established during the Festival de Cannes in 2003. Its latest activities include the formation of an arbitration organization, open to all European distribution companies, targeted at settling disputes over the distribution of films fast and effectively. EFEA has additionally decided during its latest meeting to intensify the cooperation with the European Commission, especially as it concerns the fight against film piracy. Furthermore, it is intended to draft general terms and conditions applicable for European distributors in the months to come.
